So after a little browsing of plastic tat shops (it helps when you live in a seaside town in the U.K.) I found a bag of ninjas for a pound. All told there must be around 40 ninjas in the bag, each is surprisingly well sculpted and they come in red and black plastic, but unfortunately they don’t take primer at all. Even though they defy painting I’m still interested in using them for something. Then I thought if I’m not too worried about paint chipping, why not flick them around?

FLICK NINJAS RULES
Line up two groups of ninjas at opposite ends of a gaming area. In turns players flick one ninja. If a ninja lands outside of the gaming area they are eliminated. If a ninja touches or knocks over another ninja when flicked the ninja touched is eliminated even if the ninja was on the same side. One the ninja flicked has stopped moving, they are stood up where they landed. The game ends when one player runs out of ninjas, the other player being the victor.
Optional rules…
Civilians – place a few additional figures on the board. If a ninja hits one of these figures both the ninja and the figure are eliminated.
Double kill bonus – if a ninja eliminates two or more enemy ninjas in a single flick you can either A – return one of your eliminated ninjas to the board. Or B immediately take another turn.
Play for points – Decide on a number of games to play. At the end of each game the player who wins scores one point for each ninja they have remaining. After the allotted number of games the player with the most points wins.
