A package arrived in the post today from Irregular Miniatures. One of my favourite Miniatures sites to browse, but I’ve rarely purchased anything due to the fact that it was one of those sites you had to send an email list of the bits you wanted to and wait for the PayPal invoice in a reply. Not that it was horribly inconvenient, but it seemed to be enough to keep at least me at bay. Now however they have added a shopping cart feature, so the sky’s the limit!
So why the strange collection? What period included Star Marines, Samurai, Ents, Vikings, Cyber Punks, Imperial Romans, Battle Mechs, the French Foreign Legion and Skeleton Warriors? Well if I told you I recently watched a Heroscape battle report do things make a little more sense?
I also have to state how impressed I am with these figures, while some do look a little dated but have their own charm, others I think rival the bigger and better known companies. Also I bought a Maulerfiend today… just thought you might like to know.
