Taking Your Dinosaurs from 0/10 to a solid 5.5/10

You should never put yourself down hobby wise, however some times you don’t want three layers of highlights, and when I’m looking for a way of putting my dinosaurs into action fast, I don’t want to be spending hours painting… I mean look at this treasure trove…

As previously mentioned I’d hatched a scheme utilising the paint and colours on my dinosaurs already and simply painted green bases and super glued them on:

This was great for a few games, but I did start wondering how quickly I could transform them into the sort of thing you’d expect to see on a gaming table. So I ran a black permanent marker around the base edges, picked out some details with a bone colour like claws, horns and teeth. Then I put a dot of green on the eyes, and covered the miniatures in Agrax Earthshade from Citadel. Finally I used two colours of flock on the base, and there you go:

Excuse the vibrant bed sheet, but since this takes only a couple of minutes per mini I think it’s worth it.
