Jimmy Fingers

I had a good number of those cheap Halloween skeletons left over and I was unlikely to turn them all into Nephilim like before:

One of the skellies reposed
A skelly finished as a Nephilim and doing some work on the battlefield!

So I thought instead about turning all of them into a monster, something where multiple skeletons combined into a bone Megazord.

So I just got down to chopping and gluing with a humanoid shape in mind, but not much other than that planned.

The hands, head and feet gave me the biggest puzzle. A big version of each would have been great, but instead I just went for multiples of the smaller pieces.

30 toes, 40 fingers and 12 eyes.

To add to the creep factor and to go for the desiccated corpse look I knew I needed to add skin.

So I went with a couple of coats of watered down PVA glue and toilet paper, then once dry he got gooped.

I snapped a couple of creepy pics of him drying in the oven.

Coming in for a hug!

I watered down and slopped on paint at random.

Gave him a black wash and a drybrush.

So here’s where I got with him in the short amount of hobby time I managed this weekend. The base needs doing and I’ll be adding chains like with all of my Nephilim so far, especially as some of his joints are feeling a bit wobbly! Jimmy Fingers won’t be his final name, maybe something like ‘The Hexaphim’?
