I even got the little lads on to the table, utilising an early draft of my rules focusing on Irregular Miniatures Sci-Fi range, and they performed a little too well.
Pretty quickly crushing the Space Pirates. Massed low quality fire power seems like a solid option in the current rules, so I’ll have to do a little tweaking. Either upping the Pirate’s armour, or maybe armour overall. Or figuring some points costs, to likely reduce the amount of small arms fire available. Much to consider!
