Gang Bash Coming Soon!

Bit of a slow hobby week for me, largely down to business and tiredness, but I did make sure each night to do a little painting.

As far as my kitbashed gangs go, it paid dividends as you don’t have to put in all that much to get out a few figures.

Nothing all that groundbreaking, basecoat wash, then highlight, and I even flirted with some edge highlighting. I found the trick there was to use that cheap synthetic brush you’ve probably got that’s now hooked at the end after a little use. Running it along the edge with the hook curving away from the model does perfect edge highlights every time.

So I managed a roughly red gang and a roughly blue one:

With many more kitbashes on my desk to paint to add to either.

So look out for a long form video of me this week rambling on about the rules I’ve cooked up. A couple of playtests seem promising, and this could be ‘the’ skirmish set of rules I use moving forwards.
