After Big Bot Bash 3, I wanted to continue on with my strange kit/toy/junk bashing. As I’ve always said, you’ve got to follow the hobby butterfly wherever it takes you!
I put together these guys, for some reason…

I imagine their robots, and I like the idea of them incessantly beeping, and that possibly driving anyone nearby mad, and then them smashing up the robot. Could be fun for an escort scenario.
I also added two meat based heroes… a wizard:

And a knight (I think):

“Meat for the Meat Balls!”
Then I rebased this lot, to add into the current project:

And began a ‘Cult of the Big Hat’, because the only way to know your if your god has truly blessed you is if your hat is bigger than the other guys:

I keep thinking that it would feel wrong to give this stuff stats and a proper system to play in… it should all be far more esoteric than that, but who knows…

Send help… has the blog jumped the shark?
Probably, but it is a truly magnificent madness
The power levels should be something equally esoteric, perhaps height divided by weight and then multiplied by the number of obviously different colours used 🙂
I was wondering if you could get a character’s ‘stats’ from their name or ‘true name’. Length could be wounds etc. Lose a wound lose a random letter. If letters correspond to other things, then they’ll randomly get weaker until they die. Progression is easy too, just add a letter. But that also seems like a roundabout way of having a stat line.
oh I like that, I really like that 🙂
Great imagination- keep it flowing
Oh and all I could think of with the big hat men was Napoleon with a flat pastie on his head berating Ridley Scott for getting him a vegetable one…..
