So with the various projects I’ve had lately, I’ve found a lot of waste… off cuts… little bits of trash that don’t really fit anywhere else. I’ve been using self adhesive plastic gems to texture buildings and add details in Chob-Noggoth, but there’s a load of odd shapes then left over that I don’t like, or just have limited utility.
I could just bin them in the name of minimalism…
But then I thought, what if? What if those self adhesive little shapes could make Armoured Fighting Vehicles… but for Aliens? Or Future mankind?
The heart being my least favourite shape to add to things, became the foundation for this little faction, mostly because I had so many left over.
I didn’t super glue anything (though I probably should have), just relying on the self adhesive nature of the gems to do its thing.

Some kind of support vehicle, shield generator or electronic warfare maybe:
I’ve got a shed load more gems to play with too…

It just shows what can be done with the minimum. The paintwork transforms them. I am assuming, though, that this would be for a very small scale.

I think these are great, especially when all painted up, they certainly look the part. Nice work! 😄
All it takes is imagination and opportunity however you also need to have an eye for this stuff – brilliant is what I say.
