Something I’ve thought about for a while is a Wrestling Wargame (I am aware of Rumbleslam). Seeing cheap sets of wrestling figures bundled with a ring (in a roughly 1/35-1/32 zone) got those hobby cogs in my brain turning.
Plus being a big fan of the old Monsters In My Pocket Monster Wrestlers, and Wrestling in general when I was a kid, definitely pushed the nostalgia button for me.
Here’s the progress so far:
Rules will be the biggest challenge though. As stated I want this to be a Wrestling game, not a skirmish game with a wrestling theme, if you catch my drift. But interesting duelling rules are hard, and no one enjoys a melee slogging match… which is predominantly what wrestling is…
