The Holy Abomination

‘There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.’ Genesis 6:4

One crappy plasic skeleton

I’ve been having fun thinking about the Crusade my Templars are on against the forces of Hell that have emerged from a tear in reality.

Reposed with a hot glue gun.

Of course I thought the Catholic Church must have deep underground vaults where they keep certain things locked away.

Covered in loo roll and pva glue

One mummified nephilim, released and sent on a penitent crusade.

Chains and goop added for texture.

I looked at photographs of Otzi the Mummy for reference with the painting. He was quick and simple with lots of brown and purples and a good bit of drybrushing.

Done

It’ll be fun to think of simple ways to fit him in to the simple Close Wars rules from my last post. I could give him more health, give him bonuses in combat. I’m also eyeing up a dragon toy I’ve had for a while. This is going to be fun!

  1. I always remember the episode of Lost in Space with the giant mummies in the cave but they were cyclops. One living one attacked the Robinsons.
